BLOCK® is a sewing thread made of PTFE monofilament and yarn of different materials, which is patented by NETT . The patent No. :ZL 2016 20763157.4
Yarn with different materials refers to those yarns who have the similar or complementary temperature and corrosion resistance to PTFE.
BLOCK ® is made of PTFE monofilament with PPS, MPPS, Aramide, PI and other fibers to produce "monofilament and yarn composite sewing thread" through covering ply, plying or double plying. On the premise of good sewing applicability, it has the following special functions:
1) strong complementarity: PTFE has a large thermal creep. The test shows that the PTFE sewing thread has strong attenuation and even failure at a certain temperature.But in this product, the composite yarn material has different thermal properties from PTFE, and the yarn can better make up for the strength change of PTFE monofilament due to thermal creep, so as to avoid the risk of broken or fell of the filter bags
2) increased friction coefficient: the surface of the composite sewing thread has a certain roughness of the yarn, and a higher friction coefficient than the pure PTFE thread, which can form a good clasp with the filter material and has a good fixation effect.
3) increased wear resistance of the surface: the composite structure of the yarn covering enables the outer layer of the sewing thread to be protected by the yarn and increases the wear resistance of the sewing thread.
4) improve the sealing affection on the needle holes: the feather formed on the surface of the compound line should be firmly held together after sewing the filter bag, so that the dust intercepted by the feather can easily form dust cake in the needle hole to seal it, so as to improve the filtration efficiency of the filter bag. Meanwhile, the labor cost of the sealing process of lamination or glue pasting will be also highly reduced
